Emerald City Stakes Guide

When you enter Emerald City Stakes, you'll be able to place bets on six different horses in a race. All six horses are displayed with their previous performances in the races.

In the screenshot below, Warpath Thunder (number three) recently placed first in two races, then second and fifth. 

The previous races read from left to right. 

To begin placing your bets, click on the Chips at the bottom of the screen. If you'd like to change which Chip is being used, click on the other available Chips to place them. You can place multiple Chips to increase your bet.

This game is currently betting with Chips worth 1,000 Coins.

If you would prefer to not place your last bet, you can click the Undo button in the lower right corner of the screen to remove the bet.

If you want to remove all of your bets, you can click the Clear button at the bottom right corner next to the Undo button.

During the race, your bets are displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Win Bet

Place a bet on the horse you think will win first place in the race. Chips are placed in the Win section shown in the screenshot below:

At the end of the race, if your horse won first place, this will be shown in the Winnings screen. Ribbons will be placed next to the horses where your bets won as well as the amount of Coins you'll receive.

Place Bet

This bet is placed on horses you think will come in first or second place. Click on the Place section to place your Chips for the bet. 

If your horses win first or second place, this will be shown under the Place section on the Winnings screen like in the screenshot below:

Show Bet

Place a bet on which horse you think will come in first, second, or third place. Place your Chips in the Show section to place your bet.

If your horses get first, second, or third place, the Winnings screen will display this in the Show section like in the screenshot below:

Trifecta Bet

The Trifecta bet allows you to bet on which three horses will win the first, second, and third places in a specific order. Click on Trifecta Picker in the lower left side of the screen to begin placing your bet.

This will open up a new screen to pick your three horses for the Trifecta.

Note: You pick your horses in the specific order you think they will win. The first pick will be for first place, second pick for second place, and third pick for third place.

If you click on the Box setting, this will place a bet on all combinations of the three horses winning first, second, or third place. It will look like the screenshot below:

The bet changes from 1,000 Coins to 6,000 Coins.

Note: Choosing the Box option will decrease your winnings if you win the Trifecta. The highest possible win would be betting only on one combination of the Trifecta.

Important: If only one or two of your horses place correctly for the Trifecta, the winnings will not be received. All three places must be correct.

Before starting the race, make sure your Trifecta Bet has been placed. If the bet has been successfully placed, it will look like the screenshot below:
