Treasure Fishing is a new mini game for 7 Seas Casino where players can catch fish at each port and store them in a Treasure Aquarium. Each fish stored in the Treasure Aquarium pays out extra Coins, Charms, and Party Passes for players to collect. This mini game introduces a new currency to 7 Seas Casino: Fishin' Chips.
How The Game Works
To play the game, click on the Cruise tab at the top of the screen, then click on the Treasure Fishing boat.
To start the mini game, select your bait. The type of bait you select determines how long it will take to catch the fish. If you choose bait with a higher amount of time, you'll have a higher chance of getting a more rare fish.
Rarities of Fish:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Legendary
If you don't want to wait the full amount of time to catch the fish, you can select the Power Bait option. This will speed up the time and allow you to catch the fish right away.
You can leave the mini game at any time, and you'll be notified when you've caught a fish. While you're waiting for the fish, a fishing rod icon will appear above the Treasure Fishing game:
When the fish has been caught, a new icon will appear of a fish being caught:
You'll also get a notification in the upper left corner of the screen when the fish is ready. Just click on the Treasure Fishing mini game again and reel in the fish to catch it.
Treasure Aquarium
Each fish you catch will be placed in the Treasure Aquarium. This is located in the lower right corner of the Cruise screen. Each day, you can visit the Treasure Aquarium to collect rewards from your fish.
This is also where you collect all of your rewards. When rewards are ready to be collected, a Collect Treasure button will appear on your avatar in the lower left corner of the Aquarium.
Stamp Book and Leveling Up Your Fish
To see all the fish you've caught, click on the Stamp Book at the top of the Treasure Aquarium. Fish can be leveled up to pay out more rewards.
To level up the fish, you'll see a pink button with an amount of Fishin' Chips to pay to level up the fish. Click on the pink button, and this will take you to a screen to level up the fish. You'll also be shown how this will increase the fish's payout like in the screenshots below:
Some fish in the Treasure Aquarium will display a 1/2 instead of the pink level up button. This just means you need to catch more of that fish to level it up. How quickly you can level up a fish is determined by the quality of the fish you catch. Higher quality fish will help you level it up faster.
Quality levels for fish:
- Decent Quality
- High Quality
- Prime Quality
- Premium Quality
- Perfect Quality
The quality of fish is shown as soon as you catch it:
For example, in the screenshot below, I need to catch more Ikaruga Whales to level it up:
If you don't have enough Fishin' Chips to level up a fish, you can trade your Gems to level up the fish instead.
Extra Information
The type of fish you can catch is determined by which Port or Sea Adventure we are currently visiting.
Fish are not able to be equipped as a pet.
There isn't a storage or feature to sell fish you do not want. However, there is an option to add a fish to your Favorites to display this fish more often in the Treasure Aquarium. Just click on the star icon in the upper right corner of the fish's picture in the Stamp Book.
